Mission:

Children’s Aid Society is a non-profit organization committed to helping at-risk children and their families build stronger, healthier lives through compassionate and professional services.

Vision:

Children’s Aid Society will be the agency of choice for providing children at-risk for emotional and mental health disorders and their families with quality professional services.

These services will include, but not be limited to, outpatient assessment and treatment, parent support groups, case management, and a residential crisis nursery.

Values:

Rooted in the Southern Pennsylvania District of the Church of the Brethren, we uphold Christian values.

Our Board and staff also believe that:

w Children are not only the hope of our future, but an essential part of our present society;

w The gifts of all children should be nurtured and cherished;

w Children and families with added stressors and problems need additional help and support; and

w Early intervention and prevention will enable children to become healthier and happier adults.

Services are offered without regard for race, ethnicity, religion, color, gender, disability, or national origin.

A sliding fee scale based on family size and net income makes counseling available to everyone.  Grants and contributions from individuals, churches, and other organizations make this sliding scale possible.
